Akomplice has been very busy lately pumping out new clothing, and the latest drop preparing to hit the streets from Akomplice is the Magic Plant 4.0 series. The Magic Plant 4.0 series is Akomplice’s second line inspired by plants with “special qualities”, so take the opportunity to expand your mind and your clothing game.
The color for the Bright Poppy collection in the Magic Plant 4.0 series was designed to coincide with the colorway of the Jordan 8 Aqua’s.
The precursor to this drop was Akomplice’s Magic Plant 1.0 release. This look book featured up and coming artists from Brooklyn’s Beast Coast movement, whose groups focus on the power of expanding one’s understanding and perception (often times through psychedelic experiences).

Nike has taken inspiration from Jordan Brand for this new version of the Zoom Vapor 9 Tour. The kicks feature a tumbled white leather upper with iconic cement elephant print details. The red Jumpman logo is featured on tongue while Roger Federer’s logo is featured on the midsole. Tinker Hatfield, who designed both the AJ3 and the Zoom Vapor, has to be very pleased with the outcome. Take a closer look below.
These kicks will be available in limited quantities at select Nike retailers starting today, August 26th.

With the FIBA World Cup in full swing audiences get a glimpse at returning and growing stars in the NBA, and from around the world. Another thing that is pretty sweet about these international matches is that you get a taste of the foreign basketball flavor… Like war dances, and whatnot.
In the U.S.’s most recent match against New Zealand yesterday the U.S. team got introduced to the Haka dance, an ancient Maori Tribe war dance, which they were not prepared for AT ALL.
But somehow this dance didn’t quite make the old “90% mental 10% physical” mantra swing into New Zealand’s favor.
Little did New Zealand know that the U.S. team spent the last hour and a half perfecting the rain and smhoney dance, which would propel them to a 98-71 vicotry.
